Ponderous Saturn retrogrades out of linguistically judgemental Libra on the 7th of April and won’t be returning until the 22nd of July.

Before our communication skills begin to morph, it looks like there’s an extended retrospective concerning the evolution of our language tracking though the collective mind.

Britons send over a trillion text messages a year - a trillion! The English language has always adapted to the zeitgeist. Our present text shorthand might well have made Chaucer ‘LOL’ but it’s already entered our everyday language.

Expansive Jupiter and radically innovative Uranus are transiting Pisces; an elevated consciousness is already beginning to impinge on mundane reality.
An era of incredible transformation begins to make its impact on us after the new moon.

Contemporary English is flexing, ready to accommodate metaphysical and technological concepts that until recently would have been completely incomprehensible to the average person.

The full moon in your own, relationship obsessed, sign might make you feel your love life has been put under a gigantic magnifying glass.

Even so, under such close scrutiny it seems that all those recent displays of passion and drama only confirm how deeply beguiled you’ve become by the whole concept of romantic love.

To get a sense of realism, maybe sit back and play that tune from the classic movie ‘Casablanca’. Now how does it go? Ah yes: ‘a kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh, as time goes by.’

With serious Saturn fixated on the whole issue of obligation and commitment, its extended transit of your own sign could have a pretty sobering effect on your love life.

However enticingly romantic your ruling planet Venus’ sojourn though headstrong Aries seems to be making things, be prepared - there’s bound to be some kind of demanding rider in the contract lurking beneath the surface of all that billing and cooing.

The economic shake down and the sudden advances in technology have made their impact on the landscape of our working world and the whole concept of success is morphing. Sustainability, rather than a quick buck, is the order of the day as we begin to traverse the second decade of the 21st Century.
