How does it work?

Plug the PowerSafer into the mains, and your Audio Visual appliances (like your TV, DVD, Sky box etc) into an extension panel, and plug that into the PowerSafer. After a few seconds of your appliances being left in standby mode, the PowerSafer cuts them from the power supply. When you use your remote control again the PowerSafer automatically reconnects the electricity supply.
